Poem for fathers
You push passed your limits so I can live without limitation,
You strive each day so I don’t have to struggle,
You protect and guide my steps less I follow the wrong path,
You sacrifice so much so I can be happy, the perfect example, my dear Father.
You’re patient and slow to anger, watching me grow through each stage.
You correct when necessary and praise when required.
To my eyes your ways may be imperfect, but your effort is undeniable.
Your love is unrestricted and is shown in how you shower me with gifts,
My Father, just like Eledumare you are a shoulder I can lean on,
You are an anchor for me less I am swept away by the current of life
