Water, water, life-giving stream,
You are the source of all that’s green.
You flow through rivers, lakes, and seas,
You give us life, you give us ease.

You quench our thirst, you wash our clothes,
You water our crops, you cool our woes.
You are a gift from the heavens above,
We must protect you, we must love.
