*Poem on Feasting*
A small cheer and a great welcome,
Makes a merry feast,
Nehemiah says “go,eat rich and drink sweet drinks,
And allot to those who had nothing prepared,
“For today is holy to our Eledumare “.
With feasting, Eledumare gives you your strength,
Eledumare bless us with good food as we worship you.
The rhythm of feasting reminds us of our duty to put Eledumare at heart of everything we do
Our regular feasting calls us back to the order of creation
Where Eledumare Himself instituted the creation of plants and trees that bear fruits
With feasting, Eledumare gives you your strength,
Eledumare bless us with good food as we worship you.
We thank you Eledumare,
Our table is set now,
Great food you can bet now,
All those near and dear,
This dinner is a winner, a wonderful treat.
With feasting, Eledumare gives you your strength,
Eledumare bless us with good food as we worship you.
Eledumare has made feasting to give joy but more joyous when with family.
With slowly tasting every flavour,
To the stroking with gentle lip to flavour,
The flickering and taste of the delicious food yields up,
And I will lay down and lean,
Without thirst and hunger.
With feasting, Eledumare gives you your strength,
Eledumare bless us with good food as we worship you.
