Poem for Feasting*
This my world of celebration, where feasting takes its place,
We gather ’round the banquet, embraced by lavish grace,
ELEDUMARE, we call upon your name divine,
As we indulge in this feast, a moment so sublime.
ELEDUMARE, bless this table we share,
May abundance and delight be forever in the air.
A bag of flavours, a symphony of delight,
Each dish, a work of art, an enchanting sight,
From savory delights to desserts so sweet,
ELEDUMARE, we revel in this culinary treat.
ELEDUMARE, bless this table we share,
May abundance and delight be forever in the air.
Laughter fills the hall, as stories intertwine,
Friendship and kinship, like aged and noble wine,
The feast, a tapestry of bonds that grow,
ELEDUMARE, your blessings on this fellowship we bestow.
ELEDUMARE, bless this table we share,
May abundance and delight be forever in the air.
As we savour each morsel, our spirits take flight,
Nourished by the feast, our souls ignite,
In this moment of unity, hearts entwined,
ELEDUMARE, your grace and favour we find.
ELEDUMARE, bless this table we share,
May abundance and delight be forever in the air.
With gratitude in our hearts, as the feast comes to a close,
We carry the memories, a treasure no one knows,
ELEDUMARE, we thank you for this grand affair,
For the feast that brought us joy and love to share.
ELEDUMARE, bless this table we share,
May abundance and delight be forever in the air.
