Poem for harvest
As the sun kisses the fields aglow,
The time for harvest begins to show,
Golden crops sway in the season breeze,
Rewarding labour and nature’s skill
(Chorus)
Eledumare, we are grateful for the harvest gain,
Praises unto Eledumare, the farmers chants again and again.
The farmer’s hands, weathered and strong,
Work tirelessly all the day long,
With sweat upon their brow, they toil,
Reaping the fruits of the fertile soil.
(Chorus)
Eledumare, we are grateful for the harvest gain,
Praises unto Eledumare, the farmers chants again and again.
Fields of crops, standing tall and proud,
Whisper tales of growth, so quiet and loud,
Fruit trees reaching towards the endless sky,
Nature’s abundance, none can deny.
(Chorus)
Eledumare, we are grateful for the harvest gain,
Praises unto Eledumare, the farmers chants again and again.
With grateful hearts and bountiful yields,
The harvest celebration unfolds in the fields,
Family and friends gather round,
Sharing the blessings that abound.
(Chorus)
Eledumare, we are grateful for the harvest gain,
Praises unto Eledumare, the farmers chants again and again.
With feasts and laughter, they rejoice,
Grateful for nature’s abundant voice,
For in the harvest’s embrace, we find,
The sustenance of body and peace of mind.
(Chorus)
Eledumare, we are grateful for the harvest gain,
Praises unto Eledumare, the farmers chants again and again.
