  1. Poem for Trees

There is a world of green, tall and grand,

Where nature’s beauty forever stands,

There reigns a being, divine and fair,

Eledumare, the Earth’s loving creator.

Most trees are green, and all trees are great,

Eledumare has blessed us with them.

Oh, gigantic trees, with branches high,

Reaching up towards the endless sky,

You sway and dance, in the gentle breeze,

Praising Eledumare in all your tunes.

Most trees are green, and all trees are great,

Eledumare has blessed us with them.

From tiny seeds, you grow so strong,

In each season, you brave along,

Through rain and sun, you steadfastly thrive,

Teaching us lessons, about how to survive.

Most trees are green, and all trees are great,

Eledumare has blessed us with them.

You shelter creatures, both big and small,

From birds that sing, to squirrels that crawl,

Your canopy is a haven, serene and lush,

Eledumare’s designs are filled with awe.

Most trees are green, and all trees are great,

Eledumare has blessed us with them.

Eledumare, we thank you with love,

For the gift of trees, below and above,

For their benevolence that touches all,

A reminder of nature’s boundless call.

Most trees are green, and all trees are great,

Eledumare has blessed us with them.
