Poem 16

Eledumare has done enough for us to  worship Him 
You have shown your mercy on us with holy care,
From your storehouse in the heaven,
You have provided for our needs.

Eledumare we render our hearts full of thanks and praises, for you’re worthy to be praise!

Eledumare we praise you with our songs
To you Eledumare we give praise for your goodness and kindness;
To you we consecrate our life;
Be thine the temple of each mind.

With incense sweet our thanks arise;
You protect us with your power;
You make our efforts fruitful ,
We could not thank you for them all.

Eledumare with your plenty-dropping hand
That soils our land,
And makes the crops of our land grow,
All this, and better, you have shown mercy on our way,
That we should render, for our part,
A thankful heart.

A day we share the joy that Eledumare has given us,
We come before an abundant meal,
That we quite enjoy in a special way.
What can we render to you Eledumare? if not thanks!
