Poem for Sleeptime*
In the world of dreams, where shadows play,
Beneath a moonlit sky’s gentle sway,
A world awakens, where fantasies chime,
Welcome, dear traveler, to Sleepytime.
O ELEDUMARE, the cosmic weaver,
Guide us through slumber’s tranquil river.
Grant us respite from the day’s toil and care,
Embrace us, cradle us, in dreams beyond compare.
Through starlit fields, where wishes ignite,
We wander free in the velvet night,
Where moonbeams dance with the whispers sublime,
Serenade us softly, in Sleeptime.
O ELEDUMARE, the night’s conductor,
Compose symphonies of dreams that linger.
Bathe us in moonlight, with ethereal rhyme,
Enchant us, embrace us, in this realm divine.
As we surrender to the embrace of night,
The burdens of the day take their flight,
In slumber’s embrace, where worries unwind,
Find solace and peace, in Sleepytime.
O ELEDUMARE, the gentle guardian,
Wrap us in your arms, tender and grand.
Watch over our dreams, like a celestial mime,
Protect us, watch us, in this realm of thine.
Through the realms of sleep, where time stands still,
A wonder of visions, our hearts fulfill,
In Sleepytime’s embrace, the soul takes flight,
Where dreams are born, in the depths of night.
O ELEDUMARE, the celestial dreamer,
Illuminate the night with visions clearer.
Guide us to slumber, like a lullaby’s chime,
Embrace us, caress us, in Sleepytime sublime.
So, surrender your worries, surrender your strife,
As twilight descends, embracing your life,
In Sleepytime’s arms, find peace in the divine,
Rest well, dear traveler, in dreams that are thine.
O ELEDUMARE, the eternal keeper,
Bless us with dreams that go deeper and deeper.
Grant us the solace we long to find,
In your loving embrace, Sleeptime unwind.
