Poem for body organs
O organs of my body,
How I do cherish you.
You work together so seamlessly,
It’s a wonder to me, too.
Blessed be Eledumare
The God who made me
Your heart beats strong and steady,
Pumping blood throughout my veins.
Your lungs breathe in the air,
So I can live and thrive again.
Blessed be Eledumare
The God who made me
Your brain is a complex thing,
With so many thoughts and feelings.
It helps me to understand
The world around me and my dealings.
Blessed be Eledumare
The God who made me
Your skin is a protective layer,
Keeping out germs and dirt.
Your muscles help me to move,
And your bones give me support.
Blessed be Eledumare
The God who made me
O organs of my body,
I am so grateful for you.
You are the reason I am alive,
And I will never take you for granted, too.
Blessed be Eledumare
The God who made me
