*Poem for farm harvest*
Grant me the strength to fight off despair,
For farming is not for the weak or rare.
Through scorching days and chilling nights,
Lead me to victory, through your guiding light.
chorus
Oh Elédùmarè, Enrich the soil for our sake.
Let the rain fall in due time.
Stop in due time.
Let the sun shine in due time.
Let it set in due time.
take the attention of thieves off my produceOh Eledumare.
May each stalk stand tall, proud and strong,
A testament to your grace all along.
Let me reap the fruits of my labor’s embrace,
Providing for my family, sustaining their grace.
chorus
Oh Elédùmarè, Enrich the soil for our sake.
Let the rain fall in due time.
Stop in due time.
Let the sun shine in due time.
Let it set in due time.
take the attention of thieves off my produce
Oh Eledumare.
Oh, merciful Elédùmarè , hear my plea,
Bless my farm with abundance, I beseech thee.
With grateful heart and hands held high,
I thank thee for the blessings that nigh.
chorus
Oh Elédùmarè, Enrich the soil for our sake.
Let the rain fall in due time.
Stop in due time.
Let the sun shine in due time.
Let it set in due time.
take the attention of thieves off my produce
Oh Eledumare.
In this poem, I pour out my soul’s plea,
For a good farm harvest, bestowed by thee.
Grant me this favor, oh heavenly sire,
And my gratitude will never expire.
chorus
Oh Elédùmarè, Enrich the soil for our sake.
Let the rain fall in due time.
Stop in due time.
Let the sun shine in due time.
Let it set in due time.
take the attention of thieves off my produce
Oh Eledumare.
